Suggested itinerary
Embarkation takes place in Anavyssos, and after your booking we will send you the exact location.
Optionally, we can pick you up from your hotel in Athens. No planning, no logistics, everything is taken care of. Your driver will be waiting at your door, and about 40 minutes later you’ll arrive in Anavyssos, a small, quiet harbour south of the city that most visitors never even notice.
Your boat is already there, ready and waiting. Your skipper will be on board when you arrive. The cool box is stocked, the snacks are out, and the only thing left to do is step aboard and cast off.
About half an hour into the cruise, you’ll drop anchor at a beautiful beach in Poros. Quiet, unspoiled, and far from the crowds, it’s the kind of place you rarely come across unless you arrive by boat. Here, it’s just you, the water, and the soft sound of the sea.
The water is exceptionally clear and you can see the seabed from the deck. Take your time. Swim, snorkel, or simply drift for a while. There’s no schedule to follow, no rush to move on.
When you’re ready, step back on board and let the sun warm you as you dry off. A light meal and chilled drinks are waiting. Settle in, unwind, and enjoy the slow rhythm of the coastline as it slips quietly past.
Sailing on from Poros, you arrive in Hydra, one of the most refined islands in Greece. Completely car free, the island moves at a slower, more elegant pace, with stone mansions, narrow alleys, and a harbour that feels untouched by time. This is your stop to explore and enjoy a proper lunch.
Wander through the harbour and into the backstreets of Chora, where small cafés and quiet corners invite you to slow down. For lunch, your skipper will recommend authentic, non tourist tavernas, the kind locals choose. Fresh fish, classic Greek dishes, and simple, honest flavours.
Take your time. A relaxed meal in Hydra is part of the experience and one you won’t want to rush.
Your final stop is Aegina, an island known for its relaxed atmosphere and its rich culinary tradition. Just a short sail from Athens, it offers a more local, authentic side of the Saronic Gulf.
Take a gentle walk along the waterfront or through the small streets of the town, and make sure to try the island’s signature treat, handmade pistachio ice cream made with locally grown pistachios that Aegina is famous for.
If you’d prefer one last swim instead, just let your skipper know. The day is flexible, and the schedule can always be adjusted for a final stop in the water before heading back.
On the way back to Anavyssos, the light begins to change. Late afternoon on the Aegean has a quality that’s hard to describe, everything turns golden and the water becomes calm and still. Stretch out on deck and take it in. Most people do.
As you return to the harbour, your driver can be waiting for you if you’ve selected the transfer option at checkout. A comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle will take you back to Athens, with a smooth 40-minute drive along the coast.
